Pinar
I am Pinar, the founder of Kraamzorg De Helpende Hand. I am 27 years young and live in Amsterdam. I am half Dutch, half Turkish and because of this I can adapt to multicultural families easily. I really enjoy learning about every culture during my work.
Why did I become a maternity nurse? I really enjoy the satisfied feeling I get when I have completed a maternity week. The maternity week is so intense, you are so close to the life of another family for 1 week. You share beautiful, but sometimes difficult moments with each other. I think it’s important that there is a good connection between us, so that this maternity week will be a very nice and good experience and for me to make a difference this way.
I realize very well that having a baby is very special and certainly not obvious. I am therefore very grateful that I am given the confidence to help families in a vulnerable period such as the maternity week. My goal is to give you as a family a good start and to give you the tools to take care of your baby, so at the end of the week we can look back on beautiful memories.

Najoua
My name is Najoua, I am 26 years old and I am a mother of 2 children. I am of Moroccan descent. During my maternity period I saw how important the work as a maternity nurse is. I then realized that I also wanted to go in that direction, it is a special and important profession! During the maternity week I will support you where necessary, so that you can enjoy your little miracle. If there are other children present, I will of course also pay attention to them. I know how to keep the peace in the family and will ensure that healthy meals are ready every day. I would be happy to contribute to breastfeeding if you wish to breastfeed, of course. I speak Dutch, English and Berber and would be happy to support you during the maternity week.
Monienke
My name is Monienke and I am 26 years old. I became a maternity nurse because it is a special and rewarding profession, helping and supporting a family during this wonderful period gives me great satisfaction. My goal is to be able to relieve the family of the less important things at that time, such as the household. Cooking and baking is something I love to do, so in addition to all the tools and support for the care of the new family member and mom, I will also be happy to provide you with a delicious meal. The qualities of caring and patience come in handy in my work as a maternity nurse. I am aware that I will participate in a special moment in your life as (expectant) parents and will therefore do my utmost to allow you as a family to enjoy the postpartum period as much as possible. Besides Dutch I also speak English. It would be nice to meet you! Love Monique

Judjeny
Hello expectant parents! My name is Judjeny and I am 25 years old. From a young age I always knew that I wanted to work with children. I worked at the daycare for 3 full years, mainly in the baby group and I enjoyed it immensely. With the amount of babies that are made in my family, I always found maternity care the most special job ever and I also watched the process very carefully. After the last baby in the family I knew immediately that I had to share my passion with this work! What I want is that you enjoy your little miracle with confidence and peace during the maternity week. With my support and valuable advice I help you understand how your most meaningful period is structured. Breastfeeding can sometimes be challenging for new mothers, that is why I am here to help develop the technique and build up self-confidence to successfully breastfeed. In addition, because of my work experience I also know how important it is to pay attention to other children, so if there are other children present, I would also like to include them in the process! With my cultural background I like to provide you with delicious meals and support you in the household. I speak Dutch, English and Papiamentu. If you have any questions, I would like to hear from you & hope to see you soon!

Eleni
Hello, I am Eleni, mother of 3 children, 2 boys aged 12 and a boy aged 2. In the past I have worked in various industries, all of which were super fun and educational, but it was not what I really wanted. The thought that I wanted to become a maternity nurse came my way before, but I was pregnant with my 3rd child so it was not the right time or moment to change course. Fortunately, now the moment has arrived! The helping hand came with the advertisement and I immediately dove into it with all my heart and soul. I am proud of myself that I took the step and can now be part of the great team of the helping hand. Every time it is wonderful to be present at the most special moment of the parents' lives: the arrival of the baby. With my patience and calm personality, I pay full attention to you as a brand new family and we create a fun, educational week together. Hope to meet you soon.
